Nascentia Health is a dynamic and ever-growing system dedicated to protecting, preserving and advancing our region’s healthcare environment. The construction of our new operational headquarters at 1050 West Genesee Street, Syracuse will allow us to continue meeting the needs of our patients, employees, and the community, ensuring our legacy of service endures well into the future.
At the culmination of this project, Nascentia Health’s headquarters will be a branded facility and community asset, helping us better serve our mission of bringing care to patients in their own homes, as well as bringing the community into ours.
Our new, 47,000-square-foot building will allow for an expanded and centrally located Continuing Care Call Center, which will serve as the point-of-entry for the home and community-based services provided to patients across our 48-county service area. In addition, space will be allocated for public use, bringing community members closer to the services that can assist them across the lifespan and continuum of care.
Specific items to be added to the catalog of programs and services at our new headquarters include: an expanded lobby/waiting area; public and private elevators; community room; staff gym; outpatient PT/OT suite; expanded Eldercare Social Day Program; exterior courtyard; and additional parking.
The $10 million construction project is expected to be complete in Summer 2018 and will be partially funded by employee and public donations made to our “Reimagining our Home” Capital Campaign, which launched in February 2015.
